  • Water Treatment Facility Operator II
    • Salary Range: $20.74 - $27.31 per hour.
    • This is a full-time, regular, AFSCME-represented position with excellent fringe benefits.
    • Requires certification from the State of Oregon as a Class II Water Treatment Operator and Filter Endorsement (or the ability to obtain certification within six months of employment)
    • This position is subject to recall for emergencies and employee must reside within a 30 minute response time within six months of hire.

  • Police Officer (Lateral or Entry Level)
    • Salary: $4,508.77 -$5,618.74, plus additional qualification-based incentive pay when eligible, per month plus liberal fringe benefits.
    • This is a full-time, regular, represented position
    • Applicants will be assessed using the following: application, written and physical fitness testing, oral interviews, thorough background check, drug test, medical exam, and psychological evaluation.
    • The Dallas Police Department offers full testing services through National Testing Network, Inc. (NTN). To schedule a test, go to www.nationaltestingnetwork.com, select Law Enforcement, and sign up for the Dallas Oregon Police Department. We require a passing score on the Frontline National exam (70% or better on each section) and the ORPAT to continue the selection process.

  • Reserve Police Officer (Volunteer Position)
    • Performs law enforcement and crime prevention duties including patrol and investigation; enforces state and local laws, regulations, and ordinances; related duties as required.
    • All duties are performed on a volunteer (unpaid) basis. 
    • Must possess or be able to obtain an Oregon Driver License with an acceptable driving record and must be 21 years of age or older at the time volunteer service begins.
    • Applicants will be assessed using the following: application, written and physical fitness testing, oral interviews, thorough background check, drug test, medical exam, and psychological evaluation.

  •  Flexible Schedule EMT, AEMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic
    • Variable schedule shift work
    • $10.25 - $14.38 per hour, based on certification level and experience
    • These are part-time, flexible schedule positions with no fringe benefits
    • Must be currently licensed Oregon EMT, AEMT, EMT-I, or Paramedic
    • Must have a valid Oregon Driver License with an acceptable driving record

    • Preference will be given those applicants qualified to teach swim lessons

    • Successful applicants must successfully pass a water skills test and pre-employment drug test
