Responsibilities & Services
The City Manager's office ensures the effective and efficient delivery of all city services, under the direction of the City Council, and consistent with the Dallas 2030 Vision. Our office supports the City Council and City departments. A few key administrative tasks include implementing Council policies, directing the City's daily operations, preparing the annual budget, and providing timely information to our community.

City Attorney


City Attorney Lane Shetterly provides legal counsel to city 
officials, departments, commissions, and boards, and prepares 
legal documents, ordinances, and resolutions 
concerning city business and represents the city litigation.
