The City of Dallas needs volunteers to serve on the Budget Committee and the Urban Renewal District Advisory Committee.The Budget Committee is responsible for annually reviewing the proposed Budget and making recommendations to the Council. Applicants must reside within city limits and be registered to vote.
The Urban Renewal District Advisory Committee (URDAC) is a citizen committee that was formed to make recommendations to the Urban Renewal Board of Directors regarding Urban Renewal in downtown Dallas.
Application forms for all openings can be picked up at City Hall, 187 SE Court Street, Dallas, downloaded here: Citizen Committee Interest Form, or mailed by request. Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. For more information, call 503.831.3502.
