Community Events

The City of Dallas is looking for volunteers to serve on our individual event committees. If you would like to help plan and put on one of the events listed below, please click on the appropriate link, fill out the brief application form, and we’ll be in touch!

Due to continued uncertainty with the COVID-19 pandemic, and following Governor Brown's Executive Orders, the City of Dallas has made the difficult decision to postpone Smoke of the Dragon, Red, White, Boom!, Krazy Dayz, and the summer concert series until 2021. Staff will continue to work to schedule a fireworks display in the early fall, so watch here for more information!

Krazy Dayz

Krazy Dayz is Dallas's annual summer event, typically held at the end of July. There are vendor booths, food vendors, fun for the kids, live entertainment, and lots more. We hold a parade in conjunction with Krazy Dayz through downtown on Saturday, and move the fun to the City Park on Sunday.
Here it is! Your official KRAZY DAYZ 2020 Coloring Book!

Sounds of Summer Concert Series

Every summer, the City hosts several free evening concerts at the Rotary Performing Arts Stage. Come have a snack and enjoy some great music with your friends and family!

Miracle on Main Street

Miracle on Main Street is Dallas's holiday celebration - highlighted by the lighting of the tree in front of the courthouse and a visit by Santa!
