Land Fitness Classes

We now offer Land Fitness classes in our Multi-use rooms. 

 

Come join us for Core-In, a land fitness class taught by N.A.S.M certified senior fitness specialist Christie Hamm. This class is a land based full body workout focusing on increasing range of motion, strength, balance, endurance, posture and bone density. This is a low impact class with no jumping or getting on the floor. All exercises can be modified to fit each individuals fitness levels.

What are these classes?

Land fitness classes range from chair only workouts to moderate level full body exercise.

Level 1: Chair only class. Participants will perform all exercises in a chair with resistance bands and dumbbell options.

Level 2: Chair and standing exercises with resistance bands and dumbbells.

Level 3: Full body workout with circuit exercises using an assortment of equipment.

 

How can I join a class? 

There is no sign-up needed to join a class. Anyone 18 years of age and older is welcome to join a class. 

 

What is the cost to join a class?

Cost is Daily Admission, current membership, or insurance benefit plans. 

 

Do I need to bring my own equipment to class? 

There will be a chair and some equipment provided on a first come first serve basis. It is helpful if you can bring your own set of light dumbbells, 1 long resistance band, and a water bottle.
