The Dallas Aquatic Center is open daily.
Given the shared usage of our several pools within the facility, swimming times and access vary by pool hourly and daily. During the school year we are closed during the week from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm, except on Friday when we reopen at 3:00 pm for recreation swimming.
Pool hours change quarterly. Occasionally, unforeseen circumstances may interrupt regularly scheduled activities. Whenever possible, we try to provide advance notice of schedule changes but cannot guarantee it. Please be sure to check our Facebook page for day-to-day updates. Thank you.

What is Adult Swimming?
Adult swimming is anytime there isn't recreation swimming times. This could be in the morning as well as the afternoon. During this time, adults are able to exercise, swim laps, or even relax in the spa. There are also other activities that may be occurring such as; swimming lessons, swim team, water aerobics or other activities.
If you wish to bring an individual who is under the age of 18 years old to an adult swimming, they must be within arms reach of the adult at all times. There is a maximum of 2 youth to 1 adult and the youth may enter the pools at 11:00 am.
What is Recreation Swimming?
Recreation swimming times are designated portions of the day where the whole family can enjoy the aquatic center. This is when the fountain, slide, and diving board are open to the public. The times scheduled for recreation swimming are typically in the evenings, and added afternoon times in the summer.

Pool Maintenance & Cleaning Closure
Each year, we close the Aquatic Center for up to a week at the beginning or end of the summer to complete maintenance projects that require a full shutdown of the pool. We also take that time to do comprehensive cleaning of the entire facility.
